If you would like to use the Fast Food Choices Program click here.
The Fast Food Choices Program lets you select items from McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Domino's Pizza and Red Rooster and view the nutritional
information for any products you may have consumed.
It was developed as part of an initial study for
my PhD research. The information it provides
was accuarte in 2005. Therefore, not all menu items may be up-to-date now. I am hoping to update the program sometime in the near future. But feel
free to have a look and play around with it.
Congratulations, you now have the chance to spend 5 (or so) minutes completing the next fast food study. As always, the survey only contains data for
McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Dominos and Red Rooster. All you have to do is remember the last time you ate from one of these places and
answer the questions about what you ate, who you were with and so on.
I am no longer collecting data for this study. But you can go through the survey and at the end, you can view your exclusive Fast Food Eating Profile
.
Disclaimer: The Fast Food Eating Profile is developed purely for fun, so please don't take it too seriously.
Thanks for visiting, if you have any questions regarding the site or want to report a
problem you can send an email to Emily

News,
06-Feb-09 Hi again. A big thank you to all those people who completed the mini Fast Food Survey back in
June. I ended up recruiting about 300 people in a few weeks. Truly excellent.
I have been busy busy busy writing up the results from the surveys I have completed. I promise that within the next few months
I will put some of my results up. In the meantime, it's back to writing my PhD. Feel free to do the short survey and get your fast food profile, or use the
Fast Food Choices Program. Just remember that the nutrition information provided is calculated according to Australian standards.
12-Jun-08 After a few technical hiccups, the new survey is up and running. Please take the time to log in and
complete it. It's much shorter than the last version and you get to see what kind of fast food consumer you are... which is all a bit of fun. I'd like to
thank Digital Lamb for sorting out the last few bugs in the program. And thanks to Alex for his
time as always. Check out his work here.
18-Dec-07 Hello again. It has been a very long time sicne I have given an update. Well, Study 1 is officially done
now. I have been overseas to present some of the results at conferences, which was great. However, I am still finailising my statistical analyses.
Thanks again to all those people that helped me by completing the survey. Thanks also to the people who helped me promote the survey... Keith Conlon
from 5AA especially. Please check back for more updates about my study. And feel free to use the Fast Food Choices Program to keep track of your fast
food consumption :)
